Day Fourteen - Bergen to Brussels
The Grand Place in Brussels had more tourists than anywhere else I had visited, and it seemed like every other store front sold chocolate. When I visited, they were setting up stages for some event I was glad to miss.
My Brussels hotel room was comfortable, and a more normal size. It’s location was superb, blocks from the Grand Place and the Central Station, and steps away from Brasserie Ommegang. On my first visit, I enjoyed a Croquette duo (shrimp and cheese), Farm chicken and cream in puff pastry and fries, Brioche and salted butter caramel, caramelized apples, vanilla ice cream
